AZALE Communications generated publicity for the Maritime Heritage Conference 2019 under the Maritime Heritage Institute, an inaugural event that aimed to preserve, archive and celebrate South Africa’s maritime and heritage resources while promoting the industry holistically.

SAMIWIH’s core objective is to facilitate the economic empowerment of black women within the mining industry b identifying and investing in promising business ventures. As a PR agency, AZALE Communications has provided vital support by conducting media training for the organisation’s spokesperson , managing their digital newsletter, and handling paid media palcements. Additionally, AZALE has assisted SAWIMIH in effectively managing media crisis.

The Miriam Tlali Book Club
The Miriam Tlali Book Club

The Miriam Tlali Reading and Book Club, is a legacy programme under the South African Literary Awards that was established in honour of South African prolific author Miriam Tlali. The MTRnBC define themselves as a place for those who read for pleasure, knowledge, enlightenment and fulfilment. AZALE Communications was there to promote the book club through delivering publicity activities such as media relations, event listing and social media management.

I.A.C. Writers’ Conference
I.A.C. Writers’ Conference

AZALE Communications has been a part of the African Writers’ Conference since 2017, managing and developing media relations strategies and social media plans that always put the conference out there! The annual conference is historical gathering of literary intellects and authors from across the world. The main aim of the conference is to afford African writers, scholars and community at large a platform to deliberate on issues of social, political, and human rights.

AZALE Communications led PR activities for MC Business Directory’s inaugural event in partnership with The City of uMhlathuze called The Pan-African Health Tourism Congress, activities such as content creation, media relations, media and stakeholder partnerships and engagement, planned a media launch for the event and monitored the media traffic.

Telescope Foundation
Telescope Foundation

A foundation that was established to empower township school kids through creative and marketing skills. AZALE Communications was involved with the foundation to assist with creating awareness for its programmes such as the school year book. Media and content strategies were created to generate interviews and overall public awareness by profiling Mr Wandile Cindi, the founder.

Klipdrift Campaign
Klipdrift Campaign

AZALE Communications in partnership with MSC Sports worked on the Klipdrift activation for the 2022 World Rugby Sevens in Cape Town. The campaign was Go for Gold and we were managing the branding of the activation stand, audio and visual activities and entertainment. AZALE started working on this project from June 2022 till September 2022. We handled the design and development of the stand, to the talent that would be entertaining Klipdrift/Rugby fans. We booked various suppliers that ensured the activation stand met the client’s expectations and there were enough branded products for fans. One of the talents booked for entertainment was Jason Goliath who was handling QnAs, live reporting around the stadium with Klipdrift fans and engaging with the brand as a whole.

AZALE Communications has managed the SALAs public relations’ endeavours since 2017. The South African Literary Awards are designed to honour and award South African authors who have distinguished themselves as ground breaking creators and producers of literature and have been doing so since 2005. The SALAs have become the most prestigious and respected literary accolades in the South African literary landscape.

AZALE Communications partnered with MSC Sports to manage the branding, audio and visual activities, and entertainment for Klipdrift activation stand during the 2022 World Rugby Sevens in Cape Town. The campaign was called Go for Gold, and AZALE worked on the project from 2022 to September 2022. The scope of work included designing and developing the stand, booking suppliers, and managing talent to ensure that the activation stand met the client’s expectations and provided enough branded products for fans.
